Today’s car has held the top spot on BBC Top Gear’s “Power Board” for several seasons and can only be classified as a “hypercar.” The Koenigsegg CCX is brought to you by the same Swedish company who have been recently in the news for the purchase of Saab from General Motors The CCX is the second car from Koenigsegg and with some astonishing performance figures. In stock form for instance, the in-house built 4.7L V8 can propel this rocket ship to 60 in 3.2 seconds and has a reported top speed of 259 MPH untested, but higher, than the Bugatti Veyron.  One of the most interesting features on this car are the dihedral synchro-helix doors that extend in virtually all directions allowing easy ingress and egress. They extend outward, rotate forward, and rotate upwards, which sounds a lot like the often-replicated Lamborghini scissor doors but are so much more just take a look at the gallery.
